Young guns driven to succeed in Glenroy
THERE’S two words to describe the new owners of Ray White Glenroy and that’s “ambitious and determined”.
Both directors Ziya Koksal, 31 and Mete Karan, 30, are young and strongly driven toward success.
They understand the importance of a strong, trusted brand in such a competitive industry.
Therefore they joined the Ray White group to take their small boutique office to new heights.
“We want to be a powerhouse office and now our aim is to grow our market share while keeping our personal touch,” said Mr Koksal, who already has 13 staff..
“We are looking at recruiting a few new people and we want to grow. We are young, energetic and plan to outwork our competition. Our new office is vibrant and looks stylish and very inviting.
“The brand we were with taught us much of what we know, and we are thankful for it but it is time to make the move and join a larger network.”
Mr Karan said Glenroy was an active yet diverse market.
“Families, young couples, investors, developers, and builders are all contributing to a swiftly changing suburb,” he said.
“Demand is largely driven by how well it is priced given its proximity to the CBD. Glenroy will continue to see growth”.
“This area is well known for its attraction to developers, given its affordability and size of the land. On most streets you will find new townhouses and units being built.
“Prices have increased significantly in the last 6-months, and there’s a massive amount of interstate investors coming from Sydney now buying in Glenroy. We are finding a lot of buying from the inner-north as we are much more affordable.”
The median sale price for Glenroy houses is $607,000 and for units its $452,000.
Ray White Victoria and Tasmania CEO Domenic Belfiore said he was delighted to welcome Ziya Koksal and Mete Karan to the Ray White family.
“They are opening their new-look Ray White in the heart of Glenroy, which is a wonderful community where there is so some great affordable housing stock for families, and investors,” Mr Belfiore said.
Ray White Glenroy has a staff of 13 with just shy of 500 properties under management and a personal best in GCI for the month of April. The team are excited about the change ahead.
