Ray White Canberra Celebrate 10 Years
Ray White Canberra celebrated its “tenniversary” (or 10th birthday) last week in style with staff, family, friends and clients at the stunning Arboretum overlooking the nation’s capital.
The stunning venue, decorated with tin – the metal that is generally associated with a 10 year anniversary, provided the perfect setting for a night of reflecting on the amazing growth the company has achieved, as well as all the good times from the past ten years.
“Our company is unique, it’s still growing and I hope it will continue to be the company that serves well and provide our team members opportunities for many years to come,” Doug O’Mara, Ray White Canberra CEO said.
Sam Kelso, the emcee and auctioneer extraordinaire, hosted the elegant black tie event.
The crowd heard from John Price, one of the early partners of the business, as well as Mark Williams, from Ray White Commercial.
“The growth and results achieved by Doug and the Canberra team, in such a short period of time, is astounding and has been a pleasure to be a part of,” said Mark.
Ray White Canberra is proud to be one of only a very few companies to have an office network covering the region, specialising in residential sales, property and strata management, commercial real estate, home loans and insurance.
All from the humble beginnings of just three commercial agents, only ten short years ago.
Today they can boast that they have negotiated the sale of the highest price ever achieved in the ACT’s history.
“What’s more impressive is that we have been involved in half of the top ten highest sale prices ever achieved in Canberra” said Doug.
Doug went on to say the offices has amassed 1,750 properties under management, 13,000 units under strata management across the states, sold over $500 million of commercial real estate and brokered $100 million in home loans.
The formalities of the evening were brought to a close with the cutting of a cake and Doug thanking all the team members, corporate partners, contractors and more importantly the clients, who have made a significant contribution to the business over the past ten years
