A large part of my working life has been involved in sales and marketing. I did my selling apprenticeship in the home appliance retail sector where I was involved in sales and branch management.
Looking for fresh challenges, I became one of the founding staff members of Leaders Real Estate in 1987 where I have been ever since. My involvement with the company has been in real estate sales and management. During that time I have continued to develop my skill sets including completing university study to achieve AREINZ status in 2005. This is one of the highest qualifications in real estate, it requires an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the real estate industry and entitles me to operate my own agency. I am a strong believer in the importance of ongoing education to ensure I am equipped to provide the best possible advice to my clients and achieve a top result when selling their home.
While I sell properties all over Wellington, I'm based in the northwest suburbs and know these suburbs thoroughly. I have lived in the area with my family for 25 years. My sons have grown up here, progressing from kindergarten to high school in the area. I have coached and managed their sports teams, served on sports club committees and been involved with other community organisations.
There is no greater advocate for the benefits of living in our part of town. With many hundreds of sales, I have experienced every type of market from boom to slump, several times over and I know how to optimise results for my clients in any market.
While my management role with Ray White occupies a significant amount of my time and energy, I still relish the opportunity to assist past and new clients with the sale of their home.

When we decided to sell our family home, we asked the three main local real estate companies for proposals. We had worked with Leaders for several of our past property dealings, and Peter had sold houses for other family members recently, so he was the Leaders agent we spoke to.
