Michael has had an interest in property from an early age beginning with renovating and modernizing houses 17 years ago. When relocating to New Zealand he began to invest in property and after 13 year’s experience in construction has shown a natural talent for seeking out potential and picking out the positive in all property. I just thought that I would send a quick email to highlight the fantastic service that we have received from two members of your team - Michael Ellse and Michelle Balme. We recently decided to purchase an investment property (to sneak in before the 1 Oct cut-off). We have worked with Michael in the past (we sold and bought through him in 2014). We only notified Michael of our wish to purchase a rental property on Monday 12th Sept - by that evening he had sent though a number of properties for us to view online, and then organised for us to view three properties by Thurs 15th/Friday 16th Sept (he had negotiated with two real estate agents to view their listings, and one was a Ray White listing). We then viewed two of the properties again on the Saturday 17th with Michael, and went to auction on Sun 18th Sept for one of these (which we missed out on). Michael was bidding for us and we felt confident that he knew what he was doing and trusted him to get the job done - so on Monday 19th we went to auction again, and with Michael's support we won this auction. So basically within a week we had decided to purchase and purchased. We also required a quick settlement and this was organised via Michael and our solicitor for Fri 23rd Sept. Michael was also aware that we needed the property tenanted ASAP and contacted Michelle the night of the auction. Michelle then contacted us mid-day on Tuesday 20th Sept and got the process going from her side of things (even listing the property on a few rental websites on Tuesday). By Saturday 24th, Michelle had the keys and begun showing potential tenants through the property. She also organised a viewing for the Monday 26th. By Tuesday morning she had emailed through 2 x applications that she felt would be most ideal (with an email outlining that there were another 2-3 applications that she would follow up with if we didn’t feel these initial applications would suffice). By Thursday 29th, Michelle had organised the tenancy agreement and signed up our preferred tenants. This email was supposed to be 'quick' (as quick as this whole process has been!) but I really needed to demonstrate the promptness, efficiency, professionalism and expertise that both Michael and Michelle have shown throughout this experience. It has been very stress-free (apart from the auction - I always struggle with them!!) but we have felt completely supported and received a high level of communication/explanation during this process, and we felt that an email outlining this was warranted given our high level of satisfaction with the work of these two team members. July 2010 We once met Michael at an open home and gave him our contact details. He kept in constant contact with us and assured us that he would find us a home.
