I had the privilege of meeting and working with Mark Logan recently as a purchaser in the sale of 5/324 The Terrace. I came up to Wellington for four days with my son (who is a second year student at Victoria University) to look for either rental property or an investment property. We initially saw the above property on your website prior to my visit and Mark was very helpful in furnishing us with any details that we requested. He was also very obliging with any request I had to further investigate the property and do due diligence before deciding whether to actually invest. Once we put an offer in we were very keen to settle as soon as possible so that our son could move in before University started. This meant that with our first offer we had a two week settlement date but once our offer became unconditional following a builders report we wanted to speed up settlement. Seeing as we were negotiating alot of the settlement from a long distance (my husband and I live in Invercargill) Mark was pivotal in keeping the negotiations going and he always kept us up to date with any developments. He personally chased up a lot of the minor conditions of the S&P agreement and subsequent Builders Report to speed up the process. When settlement finally occurred (eight days from the original offer) Mark even went out of his way to pick up our son and his belongings from where he was staying in Northland and drop him at the property. That act speaks loudly to me as a parent and I really valued his willingness to go beyond the call of duty to ensure that our son was able to move in. Our dealings with Leaders Real Estate were made all the better because of the hard work Mark went through for us.
