We first met Dean after we had just withdrawn our property from the market with the existing agent. Dean met with us and then provided a detailed evaluation of our property and current market situation. We explained that the previous agent had told us that the property was worth mid to late 800’s and we had promptly signed on the dotted line. But after just two weeks of hardly any interest, we were sent a letter saying our CV was well over estimated and our property was actually worth around $720,000 and they would be bringing people around in that price bracket, which was the reason we pulled the property off the market. We were then stuck in the remainder of a 3 month listing agreement and had incurred a cost of over $3000 in wasted marketing. Then Dean arrived on the scene- we were impressed from the offset by his sharp intellect, knowledge and he was so articulate. Before I’d told Dean we were signing him up as our agent, he’d organized a meeting with a council planner and sub-division consultant, investigating the possibility of what our property could be worth which was something that none of the other agents had discussed or acknowledged to us. We were more than impressed with how much work Dean put into our property and we were more than impressed when we got a result of $140,000 more than the best agent had been able to before. We can’t praise or thank Dean enough, not just for the price he achieved for our property but with the professionalism and ease in which he accomplished this for us – thanks again Dean!
