An Aucklander born and bred, Christine Kahn grew up in the central suburbs of Epsom and Parnell listening to accounts of real estate transactions – her father was a widely respected real estate agent of long standing.
Practical, calm, and patient, Christine initially trained as a teacher and taught Clothing and Textiles at intermediate school. After a stint with her sister running a corporate catering company and following the birth of her two children, Christine had considerable involvement with the family vehicle sales and rentals businesses. Once her children were independent, Christine felt the time was right to follow her father’s footsteps into a career in real estate.
Her focus was primarily in her own neighbourhood of St Heliers & Mission Bay and she kicked off her career in 2004 winning Rookie of the Year. Dedicated service in the ensuing years has seen her build a respectable reputation and her many clients love her for her perseverance, tenacity and grace.
Her commitment to community entities such as her long association with the St Heliers Bay Pony Club, previous Chair of the Auckland Area Pony Club, and a close affinity with St Heliers Church and Community Centre has been appreciated by many and carried out with her characteristic efficiency and determination to keep going until the job is done. Married to Steve, Christine enjoys walks round the beautiful bays – a place where, like many other residents they love the beaches and the wonderful lifestyle on offer.
Now with her return to the Mission Bay, Christine is excited by the opportunities available to her working from this dynamic and pivotal Ray White office in her local community. Well-known and admired for her experience and professionalism Christine looks forward to continuing to assist her Eastern Suburbs and Bays’ clientele with all their real estate requirements under her newly adopted Ray White banner.
