Charities to benefit from property sale

A deceased estate in Frankston South will be going under the hammer in September, with 100 per cent of the sale being donated to charity.

The property, located at 69 Woolston Drive Frankston South, is being sold through Ashley Weston of Ray White Frankston.

“The owner of the property had no children to pass the property on to. Her husband passed away before her, so she made the decision to donate the property to charity.

“The instructions in her Will were to donate 100 per cent of the sale to the Fred Hollows Foundation and Médecins Sans Frontières.

“We’ll be taking the property to auction and will be working to get the highest possible price for these charities. We expect interest around the high $300,000 mark,” Mr Weston explains.

The three bedroom home appeals to property investors, first home buyers and those looking for a renovation project.

“The property is in good condition and there’s also there’s huge potential to renovate and create the perfect family home.

The floorplan is functional and the property is located between two of Frankston’s best schools,” Mr Weston said.

Mr Weston said that he hopes people get behind the campaign.

“This kind of opportunity doesn’t come up often and hopefully buyers will be motivated knowing that what they decide to spend on their purchase will all go towards two fantastic causes,” he said.

The residence at 69 Woolston Drive, Frankston South goes to auction on 13 September 2014, onsite at 2pm.
