I would like to provide some feedback on our purchase of our new house in Karori. It was a unit titled property which initially put us off as being in the “too hard” basket. However Andre made every step of the process so easy – every problem we thought up he managed to find the answer for, and speedily. The body corporate insurance bothered me, but he got it sorted in conjunction with the vendor, to our satisfaction. A deal breaker for me would have been if he had made a fuss over the clause I put in the Sale and Purchase Agreement that the deposit must be held by a stakeholder until settlement. I had walked away before on a purchase when the agent made a fuss over this clause. In my legal line of work, I have seen purchasers lose their deposit through no fault of their own, when the vendor owed more than the house was selling for, and I didn’t want to risk my life long savings. However Andre realised this meant he would have to delay getting his commission, but didn’t make a fuss about it, and just made the whole process very smooth. To tell you the truth, if Andre hadn’t been the agent, we probably wouldn’t have bought the house (or paid quite so much for it!). So well done Andre. If in the future we come to sell the place, and use an agent, Andre will be the man for the job!

When Mark first met Andre and Julie he decided that they were the ones to sell our home. They really appreciated the work we had done on the house, but mostly they were very friendly and approachable, and a feeling of trust was quickly built between us.
